Oakley Sunglasses Heritage Collection

It’s hard to believe Oakley’s been making sunglasses longer than the Arizona Diamondbacks have been playing baseball or Bart Simpson has been dealing shenanigans. But yeah, this is a company with a few decades of experience under its belt, and its celebrating 30 years of shades with a nod to the past via the new Heritage Collection.

Oakley hit the ground running in the 80s with three sunglass designs, taking cues on design and functionality from bicyclists, skiers, and other athletes. The Eyeshade was the flagship pair, then came the Razor Blade and the famous Frogskin. The Heritage Collection is getting the band back together for 2014, with new lens material and designs, but promising the same level of quality that won over many a fan. They’re available now in limited numbers.
